Eerian IV "The Wind Whispers Of Scarlet" Oil Painting

Waking up to the song of the birds
The safe haven of home
My coffee
My daughter
My walk to the lake.
The lighting of incense
My moments with God
Today peace abounds.

I have finished Number IV in my Eerian Series.   I am still working with oil paint.  It seems to be getting easier and I am learning more each day. I slightly modified a wonderful medium that a reader sent me (thanks Teddy!) a few posts back.  It is a great basic medium. The paintings seem to dry quicker than I thought oil paint would. I also love the the low luster finish it leaves.

It is time for us all
To decide who we are
Do we fight for the right
To a night at the opera now?
Have you asked of yourselves
What's the price you might pay?
Is this simply a game
For a rich young boy to play?
The colours of the world
Are changing day by day

Red: the blood of angry men!
Black: the dark of ages past!
Red: a world about to dawn!
Black: the night that ends at last!

" Red And Black"
Les Miserables

Peace to you this Memorial Day!
